About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring two student assistants to join the Desktop Operations team within Enterprise Technology Solutions. You will work under the supervision of an IT supervisor to support daily technical operations. This is a part-time, temporary, and on-site position based in West Sacramento.
What you'll do#
- Image, configure, and deploy laptop and desktop computers.
- Collect IT equipment from various office divisions.
- Enter data into the ServiceNow asset management database.
- Manage the intake and disposal of IT hardware.
- Provide support to help desk customers when needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student at an accredited institution on our affiliation list.
- A declared major in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in Windows administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Previous experience in an IT role or a working knowledge of IT practices.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 40 pounds using a handcart.

- Location: West Sacramento, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Employment Type: Part-time, non-benefited student position.
