Intern Diesel Mechanic

About the role#

This is a paid, full-time internship for students pursuing a technical degree or certification. You will gain hands-on experience with construction equipment and branch operations, with the potential to work toward service technician roles within the Service Department upon completion of your program.

What you'll do#

• Learn the various types of equipment available for rent and understand their specific applications.
• Support branch operations by performing manual and maintenance tasks.
• Provide labor assistance to seasoned mechanics.
• Improve your technical skills and challenge yourself in a professional environment.
• Deliver customer service to support the branch team.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or GED.
• Currently pursuing a technical degree or certification in a field such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and foundational knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency.
• Superior teamwork and communication skills.
