About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Tax Accounting Alternative Investments team. You will support the preparation of tax workpapers, filings, and returns for our clients. This is a full-time position that offers exposure to tax accounting principles while working alongside an experienced team.
What you'll do#
- Communicate with clients via phone and email to verify the receipt of necessary tax documents.
- Use Excel and internal UMB systems to input data and prepare tax returns.
- Distribute tax documents to client investors for their personal tax filing needs.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years in an undergraduate business, accounting, or finance program.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Comfort working in a detailed environment that requires meeting specific deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Ogden, Utah.
- Modality: This is an on-site position.
- Terms: Available for Winter, Summer, or Fall 2027. The role can span a full year or a shorter term from January through April.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
