About the role#
This full-time, 12-week internship provides hands-on experience in purchasing and supply chain operations. Interns work alongside professionals to gain exposure to demand planning, inventory management, and vendor relations. The position is on-site and includes a dedicated mentor, professional networking opportunities, and access to company facilities including an on-site café and fitness center. Out-of-town interns are provided with complimentary housing.
What you'll do#
- Learn all aspects of the purchasing and supply chain process.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and develop product ordering strategies.
- Analyze inventory trends to anticipate needs and assess vendor performance.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships through clear communication.
- Forecast customer purchases to guide planning strategies.
What you'll need#
- Junior-status college student standing.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with Access is a plus).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- A dedicated work ethic.
