About the role#
This full-time, 12-week internship provides hands-on experience in purchasing and procurement. Interns work with professionals to gain exposure to demand planning, inventory management, and vendor relations. The position is based on-site and offers the potential for full-time employment upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn all aspects of purchasing and the supply chain.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and develop product ordering strategies.
- Use analytical skills to anticipate and react to inventory trends and assess vendor performance.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships through effective communication.
- Forecast customer purchases to guide planning strategies.
What you'll need#
- Junior-status college student.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with Access is a plus).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
