About the role#
We are looking for a Research and Development intern to join our team in Springdale, Arkansas. This is a year-round, part-time position designed to provide hands-on experience in food manufacturing. You will support food scientists and technicians while working on projects that contribute to our daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist and support food scientists and technicians with daily tasks.
- Complete a high volume of Research and Development projects.
- Collect and enter data, perform product evaluations, and prepare hand samples.
- Support pilot plant and plant trials.
- Communicate with cross-functional leaders to execute work.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete assigned tasks.
- Embody our core behaviors of respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork.
What you'll need#
- You must be in good standing and entering your Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year, or pursuing a master’s or Doctorate degree.
- You must have at least one year of school remaining.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Excel, with familiarity in Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask, a collaborative mindset, and a self-starting attitude.
- Your resume must include your expected graduation date and area of study.
Location & details#
- Location: Springdale, Arkansas.
- You must live within 60 miles of the facility.
- This is an on-site, part-time role.
- You must be able to work up to 25 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours during the summer.
