About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience in logistics modeling, supply chain analytics, and strategic network design. You will work with data, modeling tools, and cross-functional teams to support real-world supply chain decisions. The role is based in Springdale, Arkansas, and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, organize, and validate logistics and supply chain data.
- Support model preparation and scenario analysis for warehouse network design, inventory flow, transportation impacts, and production alignment.
- Learn to use the Coupa Supply Chain Modeler to evaluate logistics design.
- Assist with analysis regarding plant production line modeling, capacity expansion, sourcing strategies, and distribution network planning.
- Maintain baseline data, assumptions, and documentation.
- Review modeling outputs and summarize findings, opportunities, and risks.
- Create charts, tables, and presentation materials to communicate results.
- Gain exposure to AI-assisted tools like Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
- Participate in cross-functional project discussions with partners in Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing, Operations, Supply Chain Planning, and Finance.
- Complete assigned project work and present your recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior, senior, or graduate student with at least one semester of school remaining.
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Analytics, Data Science, or Operations Management.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask, a self-starting attitude, and a collaborative mindset.
- Previous work experience is preferred, with experience in the internship discipline being a plus.
- Exposure to Access, SQL, data visualization, analytics tools, or supply chain modeling software is helpful but not required.
- Your resume must state your expected graduation date and area of study.
