About the role#
This internship provides experience in operations finance and accounting within a manufacturing environment. You will work with experienced professionals on projects that support plant operations and decision-making. This is a year-round position requiring 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and report daily production metrics.
- Analyze disassembly yield data to support cost savings.
- Compile labor data and report on overtime trends.
- Prepare weekly plant variance reports comparing actuals to budget and forecast.
- Provide insights on budget versus actual drivers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Finance or Accounting major with at least one year of school remaining.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Good written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently or in teams.
- Your resume must state your expected graduation date and area of study.

- This role is based on-site at the Tyson Foods headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas.
- You must live within 60 miles of the facility.
- This is a paid, part-time internship.
