About the role#
The Golf Shop Intern assists the golf professional staff with daily operations at Audubon Country Club. This seasonal, part-time position focuses on guest service, merchandise management, and general golf shop activities. You will work on-site for a duration of six months or less.
What you'll do#
- Manage customer reservations for the golf course.
- Greet guests and help with the check-in process.
- Collect green fees, cart fees, and other payments using the POS system.
- Issue receipts for all guest purchases.
- Arrange and display golf shop inventory.
- Pack and unpack inventory and golf operations supplies.
- Take messages for staff and guests.
- Reconcile cash and accounts receivable charges at the end of the day.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- A friendly and positive personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- A dependable nature and a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge about the game of golf is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration is helpful.
