About the role#
The Ocean Course at Hokuala offers a Golf Operations Internship for students interested in hospitality. You will support daily operations across the golf shop, course, and guest services.
What you'll do#
- Manage point of sale transactions for green fees, merchandise, and member billing.
- Reconcile daily tee sheets and handle guest check-ins.
- Resolve payment discrepancies, including duplicate charges or underpayments.
- Track no-show charges and force posts.
- Assist with outside operations and maintain a tidy, stocked golf shop.
- Create lesson plans and provide individual or group golf instruction.
- Coordinate logistics for golf outings, such as scorecards, cart labels, and pairing sheets.
- Follow opening and closing procedures while maintaining safe work practices.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a PGA Golf Management Program or Associate Education.
- Current PGA or LGPA membership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using computerized point of sale and tee time systems.
- Ability to read and speak English to communicate with guests and co-workers.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship with rolling terms.
