About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship at Trinity Property Consultants. You will rotate through different areas of property management, including leasing, maintenance, operations, and management. You will work under the guidance of a senior mentor and contribute to real-world projects at an assigned community.
What you'll do#
- Practice sales techniques and learn the leasing process.
- Conduct in-house and offsite marketing, including development of marketing analysis reports.
- Assist with maintenance management, such as processing maintenance requests.
- Provide customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors.
- Handle clerical tasks, phone support, and record keeping for both digital and paper files.
- Process accounts receivable and review financial move-out procedures.
- Assist with legal eviction processes and resolve resident complaints.
- Conduct market surveys, property tours, and site visits.
- Maintain a community calendar of events and perform pre-inspections to ensure rent readiness.
- Learn and use industry-specific resident management software.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year accredited degree program, preferably in Business Administration.
- Completion of sophomore year and at least one year of work or extracurricular experience are preferred.
- Ability to read and write English fluently and perform intermediate math.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stress and demonstrate leadership.
- Familiarity with fair housing laws.
- Ability to use on-site resident management software.

- Compensation: $19 to $23 per hour.
