About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Houston, Texas, gaining hands-on experience within the legal department at Travelers. The position runs for ten to twelve weeks between June and August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research to support active cases.
- Prepare discovery materials.
- Draft legal briefs and motions.
- Observe proceedings in various courts.
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborate with Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners.
- Receive feedback on assignments and participate in mentorship opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. (sponsorship is not provided).
