About the role#
Travelers is hiring a Legal Intern for a full-time, paid summer internship. This role provides law school students with hands-on exposure to legal work within the insurance industry. You will work on-site in Overland Park, Kansas, for a ten to twelve week period between June 2027 and August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research.
- Prepare discovery documents.
- Draft briefs and motions.
- Observe proceedings in various courts, including trials, hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Collaborate with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners.
- Receive mentoring and substantive feedback on assignments.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently attending an accredited law school.
- You must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Please note that Travelers does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
