About the role#
This is an 11-week, full-time internship based at our Distribution Center in Hagerstown, Maryland. You will work alongside HR and Operations leaders to support programs that impact our team members. This program provides hands-on experience with the team member lifecycle, including recruiting, training, and policy compliance.
What you'll do#
- Support the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Assist with analyzing workforce data, exit interview feedback, and other HR metrics to identify trends.
- Help with recruiting activities for hourly and technical positions, including screening and interviews.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development activities for Distribution Center team members.
- Partner with HR and Operations leaders on safety-related initiatives and investigations.
- Support new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to relocate to and reside in the Hagerstown, Maryland area for the duration of the program.
