About the role#
Toro Group of Companies is hiring a Human Resources Intern for an 8-month or 1-year co-op work term. You will gain hands-on experience across various HR functions while supporting our team in Concord. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Help organize employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
- Support reporting and compliance activities.
- Assist with day-to-day HR administration, including file management and data entry.
- Support HRIS maintenance by updating information and generating reports.
- Help administer employee programs, policies, and HR processes.
- Assist with document preparation and audits to ensure accurate records.
- Contribute to HR projects like policy reviews and process improvements.
- Prepare reports and presentations using HR data and metrics.
- Assist with posting job openings, searching for candidates, and screening resumes.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
- Support new hire onboarding activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary co-op program with eligibility to complete a work term.
- Pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A clear interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.

- Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
