About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Austin, Texas, from May 17th through August 20th, 2027. You will be assigned a project that delivers value to the business and will be expected to apply Lean principles throughout your work. Training and resources for Lean methodology will be provided.
What you'll do#
- Assist in gathering and summarizing financial data for planning and operational control.
- Perform routine technical analyses to monitor current financial performance.
- Support the preparation of financial plans, operating forecasts, and acquisition activity reports.
- Conduct basic economic and financial research under direction.
- Generate reports and presentations to support the finance team and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect required data.
- Adhere to company policies and apply standard accounting and financial practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of financial planning and analysis principles.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
