About the role#
As a Software Development in Test Intern, you will help set a high quality bar for our infrastructure. You will work on teams like Cluster Management and Inference Platform to design and implement automated testing processes. This role provides insight into how AI infrastructure is provisioned, managed, and scaled. You will also gain hands-on experience benchmarking open source models.
What you'll do#
- Develop automated test scripts for functionality, performance, and reliability testing.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Extend and improve test automation frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand requirements.
- Contribute to defining test plans and quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a graduation date by Summer 2028.
- Programming skills in Typescript, Go, or Python.
- Knowledge of automation testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and communicate trade-offs.
- Prior SDET experience through internships, hackathons, or projects.
- Experience in API Testing, AI infrastructure, Git workflows, CI automation, Playwright, or Cypress.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site at our headquarters in San Francisco, California.
- The term for this position is Summer 2027.
