About the role#
As a Water Engineering Co-op, you will join the Water Business Line in Westfield, Massachusetts. You will work alongside industry experts on infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast. This role involves planning, designing, and administering construction for treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems. You will assist with capital improvement planning, hydraulic modeling, and asset management.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
- Perform engineering calculations to support project goals.
- Assist staff with various study, design, construction tasks, and field assignments.
- Participate in company-wide Intern Day activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of at least 2 years of college-level coursework.
- Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting.
- Intellectual curiosity and a drive to solve engineering problems.
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and an open mind.
- Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.

- Location: Westfield, Massachusetts.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid work environment.
- Compensation: Paid position with a pay range of $21.00 to $29.00 per hour, based on completed years of education.
