About the role#
As a Water Engineering Intern, you will join our Water Business Line in Worcester, Massachusetts. You will work with our team on infrastructure projects across the Northeast. This role involves planning, designing, and helping with the construction of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. You will gain experience in a hybrid work environment while collaborating with professionals on projects that support community resilience.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations to assist with ongoing projects.
- Help staff with study, design, and construction tasks or field assignments.
- Participate in our annual Intern Day activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of completed college-level coursework.
- Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems.
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness.
- Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.

- Compensation: $21.00 to $29.00 per hour, based on completed years of education.
