About the role#
The Analytics Intern will support the Coil Processing Group by enhancing sales, operations, and production data. Reporting to the V.P. of Operations, this role involves working with cross-functional teams to develop analytics solutions, automation initiatives, and data visualizations. You will gain exposure to business systems and hands-on experience with data tools.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Develop high-quality Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
- Learn to navigate business systems of record and extract data from SAP and SAP business warehouse.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and interpretation while understanding database schemas and relationships.
- Support API development, integration, and performance optimization alongside IT and DevOps teams.
- Participate in meetings and shadow team members to capture system and process knowledge.
- Perform testing, enhancements, and quality checks to ensure solution accuracy and usability.
- Document findings, maintain knowledge repositories, and support user training and solution adoption.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited university as a Junior or Senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft O365 suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
- Familiarity with the MS Power Platform.
- Strong communication, research, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
