Analytics Intern

About the role#

The Analytics Intern supports the Coil Processing Group’s sales, operations, and production data initiatives. Reporting to the V.P. of Operations, this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards, analytics solutions, and automation projects. You will gain exposure to business systems, including SAP and SAP Business Warehouse, while working with Power Platform tools.

What you'll do#

• Support the enhancement and ongoing maintenance of sales, operations, and production data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Develop high-quality Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
• Extract and interpret data while performing data analysis and validation.
• Work with corporate IT teams on API development, integration, and performance optimization.
• Participate in team meetings and shadow members to capture system and process knowledge.
• Perform testing, enhancements, and quality checks to ensure solution accuracy and usability.
• Document findings, maintain knowledge repositories, and support user training.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited university with Junior or Senior academic standing.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft O365 suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
• Understanding of MS Power Platform.
• Strong communication, research, and organizational skills.
• Ability to think critically, work independently or in a team, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
