About the role#
This internship at thyssenkrupp Materials NA is designed to provide college students with on-the-job training and professional experience. You will support professional staff by engaging in various work assignments and projects to build your skills within the manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Learn organizational processes and procedures.
- Contribute to assigned projects, including the development and maintenance of documentation and records.
- Review and process court orders that require changes to benefit coverage.
- Perform administrative tasks within the Benefits Administrative system, such as reviewing qualifying life events and coverage changes.
- Reconcile monthly invoices from vendors and facilitate the approval process for payment.
- Respond to telephone calls and emails.
- Collaborate with various departments to prepare special projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within one year) from an accredited university or college.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Capacity to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
