About the role#
This Winter Engineering Co-Op position offers the opportunity to work on projects with significant strategic and operating importance to the business. You will be matched to specific assignments based on your skills and current business needs, allowing you to contribute directly to organizational goals.
What you'll do#
- Partner with leadership to identify efficiency gaps and benchmark against industry best practices.
- Act as a process owner by critically reviewing workflows and recommending improvements with high attention to detail.
- Operate specialized equipment and instrumentation with limited supervision.
- Build tools and models to enhance tracking and operational efficiency.
- Gain proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies, such as PPI and Six Sigma, to support improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate across functions, including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or Biomedical), Life Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
