About the role#
This internship is a 10-week summer position designed as a pipeline for future leadership talent. You will support clinical labeling projects that have direct strategic and operating importance to the business. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bohemia, New York.
What you'll do#
- Execute material qualification testing for new and updated clinical label materials and designs.
- Support label stability studies using environmental chambers.
- Set up and execute engineering tests.
- Collect and document test data.
- Assist with the analysis and interpretation of results.
- Perform basic maintenance and routine upkeep of laboratory test equipment.
- Support process qualification activities.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Materials Science, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- At least 1 year of previous related internship or work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through athletics, student organizations, community service, or similar roles.
- A track record of influencing others, leading initiatives, and driving results.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and solve complex problems.
- Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and an innovative mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- Geographic mobility and flexibility.
Location & details#
- Location: Bohemia, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (start dates of May 24, 2027 or June 14, 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $21.50 - $28.75 per hour.
- This position is paid and requires a reliable mode of transportation.
