About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in clinical operations within a biotechnology research environment. You will contribute to projects that support the development of therapies for life-threatening diseases. During this 10 to 12 week program, you will engage with cross functional teams and participate in professional development activities.
What you'll do#
- Track and update project information in clinical trial management systems and databases.
- Assist with the filing and review of study documents in the eTMF.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and external vendors.
- Develop study plans and facilitate their review.
- Review monitoring trip visit reports and track open action items or findings.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with established policies and regulatory requirements.
- Present your work at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Business Administration.
- Continued full-time enrollment for the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10 to 12 week internship between May and August.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Independently authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
