About the role#
As an intern in Patient Safety, you will contribute to projects that support our mission to improve lives. You will gain experience working within an innovative organization, participating in team meetings, and engaging in professional development initiatives. You will conclude the internship by showcasing your work in a final presentation.
What you'll do#
- Perform data analytics by collecting and analyzing data, creating reports and dashboards, and using visualizations like graphs and infographics.
- Assist in facilitating demand requests, including documenting user requirements, authoring business cases, and writing process documentation.
- Manage enterprise content systems such as SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Develop automated processes using tools like PowerAutomate and create sub-departmental chatbots with CoPilot Studio.
- Provide troubleshooting and application support, including testing and refining configurations for safety databases.
- Prepare program-level and user-level documentation while coordinating tasks to meet project deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. university, with continued enrollment in the following Fall semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10-12 week internship between May and August.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Coding skills in SQL, Python, or R.
- Familiarity with relational databases and Business Intelligence tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
