About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program designed to build future leadership talent. You will work on projects with strategic importance to the business. Interns who perform well may be considered for full-time roles or leadership development programs after graduation. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Provide engineering support for manufacturing, operations, and product development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
- Support the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Analyze manufacturing data to improve efficiency and eliminate waste.
- Participate in testing and manufacturing quality activities.
- Create and maintain engineering and manufacturing documentation.
- Gain hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
- Define and execute assigned project activities.
- Communicate project findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to support your professional development.
What you'll need#
- You are an undergraduate student completing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Your graduation date is between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You have 1+ years of previous related internship or work experience.
- You have proven leadership experience.
- You have a track record of influencing others and driving results.
- You can navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems.
- You demonstrate grit and resilience.
- You possess strong learning agility and intellectual curiosity.
- You have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- You are geographically mobile and flexible.
- You are legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Locations: Grand Island, New York; Bedford, Massachusetts; Carlsbad, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
