About the role#
This co-op position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on technical experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will work on-site in Whitby, Ontario, as part of a program designed to develop future leadership talent. Successful performance during this term may lead to consideration for full-time opportunities post-graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn the technical aspects of manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical dosage forms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and yield.
- Assist with investigations by gathering data and performing statistical analysis.
- Compile process data and prepare reports for review.
- Present your findings and contribute to ongoing process improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate Bachelor's degree program in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) or Sciences, with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Proven leadership experience through campus organizations, athletics, volunteer work, or other roles.
- A track record of influencing others, driving results, and managing initiatives.
- Ability to solve complex problems and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Grit, resilience, and a curious mindset.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Whitby, Ontario.
- The position is paid at an hourly rate of $24.00 to $25.00, depending on your academic year.
- Geographic mobility and flexibility are required to support business needs.
