About the role#
Walt Disney Imagineering is the creative force behind Disney theme parks, attractions, and resorts. This internship focuses on show control hardware, where you will assist the team responsible for bringing attraction show elements to life. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Glendale, California, running from January 2027 to June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare basic engineering designs and calculations under supervision.
- Provide general engineering support to Lead Engineers.
- Participate in a test and adjust construction environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Junior or higher in an accredited college or university.
- A major in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
- Hands-on experience with industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with control hardware design systems and PLCs.
- Ability to work as part of a technical team.
- Computer literacy with MS Office products.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
