About the role#
Walt Disney Imagineering is the team behind the design and development of Disney theme parks, resorts, and attractions. This internship runs from January to June 2027. You will work on-site in either Lake Buena Vista, Florida, or Glendale, California.
What you'll do#
You will help the team develop creative presentations, signage, and show graphics. Your work will support the storytelling process across Disney properties. Specific tasks include:
- Building information design presentations to support project phases.
- Assisting with project design development and technical documentation for Environmental Graphic design projects.
- Preparing signage design information.
- Providing design documentation through illustration, research, and scaled imagery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or higher in a degree program such as Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Architecture.
- Strong skills in design and illustration tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience with thoughtful design and artistic problem solving.
- Familiarity with Environmental Graphic design and sign construction techniques.
- A valid Driver's License.
- A portfolio is required for your application to be considered.
Location & details#
This is a full-time, paid internship. It is an on-site position. You must be able to provide your own transportation to and from work. You are responsible for your own housing, although limited housing options may be available for Florida-based interns.
