About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student position based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are accepting applications from all students regardless of work-study award status. The role involves managing chemical inventory data across various campus facilities.
What you'll do#
- Visit laboratories, studios, and makerspaces to conduct chemical inventories.
- Upload inventory data into our web-based management system.
- Barcode and register new chemicals.
- Schedule and perform on-site visits.
- Assist warehouse staff with waste inventory tasks.
- Attend weekly check-in meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student, ideally in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Chemical Engineering.
- Comfort working in laboratory and makerspace environments.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Ability to manage inventory tasks with limited supervision.
