About the role#
This position offers PRN opportunities for students aged 16 to 17. It is designed for those seeking work during the summer and school breaks. You will support a patient-centered environment by maintaining facility cleanliness and managing supplies.
What you'll do#
- Perform cleaning procedures across various hospital spaces including patient rooms, labs, offices, and public areas to meet quality standards.
- Follow all hospital and department policies regarding infection prevention, safety, and human resources.
- Deliver clean linen and stock carts to established par levels.
- Remove soiled linen and trash, transporting items to designated storage or disposal areas.
- Maintain housekeeping carts and closets in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting any repairs needed to your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Ability to perform basic measurements using units such as cups, pints, quarts, ounces, inches, feet, and yards.
