About the role#
The National Account Manager for the Hardware & Co-Op channel is responsible for achieving annual shipment, retail sales, and profitability objectives for the residential mass business segment. This role involves P&L ownership, strategic relationship management, and the development of annual business plans. You will lead corporate account management and tactical retail field sales execution while managing a Sales Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and forecasting.
What you'll do#
- Develop and execute annual business plans to meet sales and profitability goals for all residential product categories.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at accounts such as Ace Hardware, Grainger, and Do-It-Best.
- Manage a Sales Analyst responsible for retail and shipment forecasting, order management, and business intelligence reporting.
- Lead corporate account management and tactical field sales plan execution with manufacturer representative organizations.
- Partner with the residential marketing team to conduct product line reviews, develop digital marketing campaigns, and execute new product launches.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators including shipment goals, inventory targets, and profit margins.
- Oversee account-specific integrated marketing, including retail media, digital advertising, and loyalty programs.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in a business or marketing related discipline.
- Minimum of five to ten years of combined sales and marketing management experience, including P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute annual business, sales, and product category plans.
- Proven experience leading sales and marketing initiatives with large retail accounts, including product line reviews for physical stores and e-commerce.
- Subject matter expertise in product features and customer benefits.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable programs that drive retail velocity.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Location: Bloomington, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Travel: Approximately 25-50% travel is required to support business plan execution.
