About the role#
The Papé Group offers a summer internship designed to provide students with industry experience and familiarity with our sales philosophy. This is a full-time, paid position that includes a rotational work experience. You will spend time in various departments including sales, parts, service, and rental. You will work under a senior department leader who acts as a mentor to help you understand how these areas support one another to achieve sales success.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through multiple departments to learn company operations.
- Learn the Papé Sales Process through product, solutions, application, customer relationship, and business development training.
- Build skills through job shadowing and on-the-job training.
- Manage a company-assigned project focused on a new business opportunity, challenge, or strategic initiative.
- Present your project results and findings to the management team for feedback.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a college underclassman is preferred.
- At least 1 year of previous sales experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of capital equipment is helpful.
- Background in finance, marketing, or sales is a plus.
- Strong self-motivation and drive.
- Above-average computer skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer relation skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
- Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test.
