About the role#
The Sales and Marketing Intern gains hands-on experience across the dealership. You will observe and engage with parts, service, sales, and precision technology departments to understand how they contribute to the business. This role involves working with the Territory General Manager to support operational success.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with all departments to understand business operations.
- Support marketing and promotional activities like social media management and event coordination.
- Help with inventory management by tracking parts and equipment and assisting with restocking.
- Assist in customer service by answering inquiries and providing information about equipment and services.
- Manage and lead projects across departments to reach business objectives.
- Shadow employees to experience different parts of the business.
- Communicate project updates and timelines to managers.
- Use business systems to gather data and analyze projects.
- Review and recommend growth opportunities throughout the territory.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or Junior status pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Agriculture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills with the ability to interact professionally.
- Ability to present to large groups of professionals with poise.
- Basic knowledge of agriculture equipment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales reports.
- Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and develop in new areas.
- Ability to demonstrate the guiding principles of Bane-Welker.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for work assignments.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching, stooping, and crouching.
