About the role#
This 12-week internship program at Komatsu North America offers students exposure to Aftermarket Sales and Marketing. You will work within a structured environment that emphasizes training and mentorship while supporting initiatives that drive customer engagement and business growth.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and collaborate with experienced sales and marketing professionals on real projects.
- Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns for aftermarket parts and services.
- Support sales initiatives through data analysis, pricing reviews, and promotional planning.
- Create and update marketing materials, presentations, and digital content for customer outreach.
- Analyze customer purchasing trends and market data to identify growth opportunities.
- Design dashboards and reports to track campaign performance and customer engagement metrics.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Business, Marketing, or Finance program at a 4-year accredited college or university, with Junior or Senior standing.
- Ability to apply academic concepts to real-world business challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel with Pivot Tables, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and adapt to the business environment.
- Prior involvement in work-study programs, leadership roles, team projects, clubs, or professional organizations is preferred.
