About the role#
The Marketing Intern will support the Industrial Coating Systems team through a mix of strategic marketing, product management, and digital communications. You will work alongside Product Management, Marketing Communications, Sales, Engineering, and Business Leadership teams to gain hands-on experience across multiple marketing disciplines.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insight projects.
- Support Voice of the Customer activities including surveys and interviews.
- Assist with product portfolio analysis, market segmentation, and opportunity assessments.
- Help Product Managers with new product development and stage-gate activities.
- Develop presentations, business cases, and strategic marketing recommendations.
- Create and manage content for websites, email campaigns, and social media.
- Support the development of marketing collateral, brochures, and sales enablement materials.
- Assist with trade show, event, and customer seminar planning.
- Execute digital marketing campaigns and support search engine optimization.
- Manage CRM data, lead tracking, and marketing automation activities.
- Analyze marketing data to create reports, dashboards, and charts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Marketing, International Business, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Data Analytics at an accredited university.
- Must be returning to school following the internship.
- Strong interest in strategic marketing, product management, and business analytics.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to translate information into actionable recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- A self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with social media, digital marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, CRM systems, or data visualization tools is a plus.
