About the role#
The Chicago Intern program provides hands-on experience within our corporate headquarters. You will work on projects related to construction equipment products and solutions. The program includes opportunities to learn about our business through leadership sessions, networking events, and site visits to manufacturing plants and dealer locations. This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support assigned corporate department projects and initiatives.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and summarize your findings.
- Assist with reports, presentations, dashboards, and communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build relationships.
- Participate in meetings, training, and business overview sessions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and share your recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing at an accredited college or university.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and maturity to interact with executives and associates at all levels.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
- Motivation to contribute and drive results.
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to collaboration.
- Interest in learning about capital goods and heavy equipment in the construction and mining industries.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Modality: Hybrid (onsite attendance at the Chicago headquarters is highly encouraged at least 4 days per week).
- Duration: Summer 2027 (minimum 10-week commitment).
