About the role#
This internship program provides students with hands-on experience related to actual business needs. You will work on projects aligned with your field of study while gaining exposure to the machinery manufacturing industry. This is a full-time, paid position based in Franklin, Pennsylvania, running from May 2027 through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare designs to meet customer order requirements or development projects.
- Assist in creating information for sales presentations.
- Review current designs and components to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Gather data to support the creation of Technical Reports and Service Bulletins.
- Perform engineering evaluations including testing and calculations.
- Participate in setting up engineering tests and documenting results.
- Gain awareness of industry guidelines, standards, and global regulations.
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing teams regarding specifications.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing environments.
- Experience with focused team assignments is desired.
- Familiarity with Lean Engineering principles or Change Management implementation is beneficial.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to apply learned knowledge to different situations.
