About the role#
The Commercial Product Marketing Intern will join the Golf Product Marketing team for the summer of 2027. This role involves direct involvement in product development, market research, and sales strategy. You will gain hands-on experience with turf equipment and B2B sales channels while working alongside our product teams in Bloomington.
What you'll do#
- Support the Golf Product Marketing team with daily initiatives and key projects.
- Contribute to new product development and stage gate processes.
- Operate prototype and production machinery, including commercial mowers and utility vehicles.
- Create marketing materials such as web content, sell sheets, press releases, and testimonials.
- Analyze sales data, profitability, and production forecasts.
- Collect and interpret market research and voice of customer data to assess new product concepts.
- Research and quantify market opportunities for potential new products.
- Communicate with distributor partners and end customers.
- Assist in the planning and execution of customer events and product demonstrations.
- Participate in technology demos and develop sales strategies for new turf technology.
- Provide competitive analysis on emerging turf industry technology.
What you'll need#
- Junior academic status pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
- Comfort working with technology, including digital apps, machine displays, and GPS-assisted equipment.
- Ability to operate machinery and a willingness to work in a hands-on environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret and analyze data.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, with database or data mining experience considered a plus.
- An interest in working with equipment for the outdoor industry.
