About the role#
The Golf Intern supports daily operations at the golf shop while gaining hands-on experience in guest service, retail management, and tournament administration. This role assists golfers and resort guests with merchandise, tee times, and facility operations.
What you'll do#
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Support daily golf shop operations, including retail sales, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Assist with tee time reservations, player check-ins, and tournament registration.
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the golf shop and surrounding areas.
- Provide information regarding golf programs, lessons, merchandise, and resort amenities.
- Assist with tournament and special event preparation and execution.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs to ensure a positive experience.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Golf Management, Hospitality, Business, Recreation, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A professional demeanor and a focus on customer service.
- A genuine interest in golf and the hospitality industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
