About the role#
This internship offers college students hands-on experience in high-end restaurant service at The Sea Pines Resort. You will rotate through guest-facing roles at signature dining venues like Coast, Links, Quarterdeck, and Fraser’s Tavern. You will work under the mentorship of front-of-house supervisors and restaurant managers to learn the basics of hospitality and service.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various guest-facing positions across resort dining venues.
- Participate in high-end restaurant service operations.
- Learn to operate reservation and point-of-sale systems.
- Develop skills in fine dining standards and beverage service.
- Build abilities in leadership, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
- Work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program, such as Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Communications, or Psychology.
- A desire to gain practical experience in front-of-house operations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Location: Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Duration: 14 weeks.
- Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: Hourly wage plus tips where applicable.
- Housing: Provided, subject to availability.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
