About the role#
The Sea Pines Resort offers a 12-month Culinary J1 Training Program. This role provides hands-on experience in resort-style food and beverage operations. You will rotate through four phases, starting with orientation and moving through culinary fundamentals, specialization in diverse cuisines, and advanced kitchen management. This program builds foundational skills and leadership capabilities for those starting a career in hospitality.
What you'll do#
- Participate in all phases of the training program with a focus on learning and development.
- Assist the culinary team with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Maintain high standards for food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organization.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver quality dining experiences for guests.
- Support banquet and special event operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a culinary or hospitality program.
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and hospitality.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
