About the role#
The Compliance Risk Solutions team manages the GRC systems at The Options Clearing Corporation. This 12-week summer internship offers the chance to contribute to technical projects while gaining experience in the financial services industry. You will work 40 hours per week in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Build and develop within the Archer platform across various solutions, including modules for Controls Assurance and Risk Management.
- Perform technical assessments of the current state of PolicyTech and Apparity.
- Create system documentation for GRC tools.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising senior or second-year graduate student, with a graduation date of December 2027, May 2028, or August 2028.
- Understanding of IT domains such as software development, change management, system administration, and quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major low-code platform.
- Experience working with relational databases and configuring business process automation or workflow engines.
- Knowledge of platform governance, security roles, and access control models.
- Experience using platform-specific debugging and performance tuning tools.
- Ability to identify and document functional and non-functional requirements.

- The role is based in Chicago, Illinois.
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- This role follows a hybrid work program, requiring attendance at the office at least 3 days per week, including Tuesday and Wednesday as anchor days.
