About the role#
As an Operations QA Intern, you will join our manufacturing team in Decatur, Alabama, for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will work alongside operating technicians and salaried staff to support our production processes. You will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while contributing to real projects.
What you'll do#
- Work with technicians on the production floor to collect data and learn manufacturing processes.
- Study process capabilities to help meet specifications and support grading guidance.
- Manage and complete assigned projects, documenting your findings and communicating results to the team.
- Prepare standard reports and maintain program documentation.
- Analyze data to identify facts, draw conclusions, and recommend improvements.
What you'll need#
- Rising junior or senior student status.
- Educational background in a science or engineering field, specifically Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to define problems, gather data, and analyze results.
- Ability to work effectively in both an office and a plant environment while following safety procedures.

- Location: Decatur, Alabama.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site, 100% in-person.
- Compensation: Paid internship with a rate of $21.50 to $25.00 per hour, depending on year in school.
