About the role#
The Hub Project is hiring an intern for its abortion campaign. This role supports efforts to fight back against attacks on reproductive freedoms and rights. You will help educate the public on these issues and share stories regarding the consequences of abortion bans. This is a full-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Identify and track federal and state level attacks on abortion access.
- Gather research and draft materials for internal and external needs.
- Provide logistical support for events during planning and execution.
- Maintain internal organization materials for the storyteller network.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A demonstrated interest in protecting abortion access.
- Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to explain complex policies.
- Attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative approach to team environments.
- Academic background in Political Science, Communications, Public Health, or Sociology is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, District of Columbia.
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days in office and 2 days remote each week).
- Term: September 9, 2026, to December 4, 2026.
- Compensation: $20 per hour, not to exceed 40 hours per week.
- Status: Full-time.
