The Hub Project is seeking a Campaign Intern for the Economic Education Project. This full-time, paid internship supports advocacy campaigns focused on educating the public about economic issues and promoting policies that benefit working families. The role involves working across communications, campaigns, and digital teams to advance campaign goals through grassroots, paid media, and earned media strategies.
What you'll do#
- Support campaign planning and draft program memos.
- Identify and reach out to individuals impacted by economic policies to build a network of storytellers.
- Train storytellers on how to share their experiences effectively.
- Create training materials and written documentation.
- Provide logistical coordination for earned media events, including town halls, press conferences, and lobby days.
- Assist in communicating project updates to key partners and attend partner meetings.
What you'll need#
- Interest in progressive causes and issues related to the economy and social justice.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse communities.
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and research skills.
- Proactive work ethic with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging.
- Academic background in Political Science, Economics, Communications, Journalism, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, D.C.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote per week).
- Dates: June 8, 2026, to August 21, 2026.
- Compensation: $20 per hour, up to 40 hours per week.
- Benefits: Health leave accrued at 3.33 hours per pay period.
