About the role#
The Hershey Company offers a Supply Chain Co-op program for students to gain experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The program runs during the winter 2027 term. Please note that the company does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
Co-ops support various departments including Transportation Operations, Supply Planning, Procurement, Demand Planning, Customer Supply Chain, Manufacturing Alliances, and Capital Planning. Your specific responsibilities include:
- Track and trace strategic customer shipments for Hershey and Alliance partners.
- Manage and control finished goods inventories for assigned items.
- Develop and maintain a 104-week forecast for assigned items.
- Collaborate with Category Managers, Packaging Development, and suppliers.
- Evaluate customer orders to identify trends and opportunity areas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or above.
- A minimum 3.2 GPA.
- Preferred majors include Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
- Outstanding analytical abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Excel.
