About the role#
The Information Services Intern supports business stakeholders in areas including data and analytics, process automation, reporting, and IT infrastructure. You will work within a consumer packaged goods environment, contributing to cross-functional initiatives while building technical and analytical skills. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Gather and document business requirements to support the development of data, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to assist with business decision-making.
- Collaborate with Canadian, U.S., and Shared Services IS teams to deliver solutions and resolve technical issues.
- Provide end-user support for IT tools, infrastructure, and ServiceNow tickets, including device setup and onboarding.
- Support IT infrastructure projects and maintain office technologies, such as meeting room systems and network hardware.
- Communicate project progress, timelines, and risks to stakeholders across various functions.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or Business Administration program.
- Strong interest in data and analytics, reporting, and process automation.
- Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SharePoint, Jira, and Wikis is an asset.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site at the Hershey Canada Corporate Head Office in Mississauga, Ontario.
- The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
