About the role#
The Category Management Intern position serves as a starting point for future sales leaders at The Hershey Company. Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, you will work directly with our customers to analyze shopper data and insights. This role focuses on building business acumen by creating selling stories and making strategic recommendations on item assortment, product placement, and promotional displays.
What you'll do#
- Develop projects and reports to support Hershey sales goals at Walmart.
- Perform fact-based analysis of business trends using various data sources.
- Identify selling opportunities for Walmart using internal business systems.
- Analyze sales information for key programs and promotions like seasonal events.
- Create new processes to improve the efficiency of the Hershey Advisor Team.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status as a sophomore or junior for the Spring 2027 semester.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Major in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or Mathematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs.
- Demonstrated leadership and academic achievement.
- Previous internship or sales experience is a plus.

- Location: Bentonville, Arkansas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (April 2027 to May 2028).
- Schedule: This is a part-time role during the school year (20-25 hours per week) and full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer.
