About the role#
The Capital PMO Co-Op works with the Capital PMO Team to help manage the capital budget. You will gain exposure to budget group owners across global manufacturing sites, including confectionery, salty, and international facilities. This role involves reviewing and analyzing capital project data to support large-scale budget goals.
What you'll do#
- Review and audit project submissions to ensure they meet capital stage gating requirements.
- Use Power BI to maintain and update a Capital Engineering dashboard covering expenditures, approvals, and resource demand.
- Help improve the current data management strategy to build a more automated environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for budget groups responsible for executing capital projects.
- Support the delivery of the current capital plan and the development of the following year's plan.
- Assist with the weekly capital stage gate governance cycle by setting agendas, monitoring compliance, and documenting meeting follow-ups.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS degree program for Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Finance.
- Completion of at least 2 years of coursework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Prior internship experience and Power BI skills are preferred but not required.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January through May).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
