About the role#
The Logistics Intern will manage projects within the Logistics and Logistics Procurement departments. You will work on tasks that support our daily operations and help refine our supply chain processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily logistics procurement tasks including rate entry, tracking purchase orders, and managing carrier relationships.
- Support contract negotiations and manage the end-to-end process for Requests for Proposal (RFP).
- Collect and analyze carrier pricing and performance metrics to ensure consistency across our plants.
- Create and validate logistics reports and key performance indicators.
- Research potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, product quality, and pricing.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve invoicing and payment issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Supply Chain Management, with a focus on Logistics or Procurement.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
